I have been hard at work on changes behind the scenes of my various websites. The first thing I did was put everything under a single WordPress multi-site installation. Now it is super easy to administer my various websites.
Next I will be spending some time organizing my content, especially the 15 years of blog entries that are archived in various places. It will be nice to have that all online and viewable again.
Eventually I will work on some new themes as well but that is not as high of a priority. Mainly because I tend to think it doesn’t help to have a great looking site if the content is weak.
My sites will have specific foci as well. Narom.net is my blog about design, blogs and those sorts of things with a few personal stuff thrown in (but mostly just a place to experiment with web design ideas).
Wushuzilla is all things wushu, china or training related including nutrition, health and stuff about living in the birthplace of wushu.
Finally geargrubgo.com is my site about the international lifestyle including travel gear, packing tips, international cuisine and culture, as well as travels and some of the trips I take.
I also have a site called walkthepla.net but it mainly deals with my efforts to walk a lot and become healthy. I might develop it further in the future but it is not a super high priority at the moment.
Kitty likes all this tech talk too.
