Today is ruhi’s birthday! Happy birthday!!!!
We are hanging out at art galleries, having nice meals and seeing a movie with friends later.
Today Fod an I met up with Matt at Bridges, just a stone’s throw from where he teaches English. We had a nice time relaxing with a couple bowls of Chilli and a burger for Matt.
After work I went to one of the Kao Rou (Chinese BBQ) places across the street from Ruhi’s night class. Spicy and delicious.
Our cat is nothing if not fiesty. She has an abundance of energy and is usually happiest when attacking hands and feet.
Here we see her during an experimental film shoot for a piece I like to call “Cello Yoyo Mao”.
Today started with a nice musical performance for some children by Nabil. I was able to join in with some backup guitar.
Then Ruhi and I went to Danzi Chang to get some apple accessories before i dropped her off in Gaoxin and then headed to subway for some dinner and free wifi.
Tonight Nabil and Adam played some great tunes for a few folks at our home. Nothing too fancy. Just some nice folks and some nice music.
Today I was getting some fixes done to my scooter. While we waited some dumplings were on the menu. Yum!
A beautiful day in Xi’an today, almost making up for the months of rainy weather. This is my coworker, Lei, as we took a break after lunch to enjoy some sun.
I was the first one in to the office this morning so I took the opportunity to take a bit of video and some photos. The first video is from the outside hallway between our 3 business suites in this part of the software park. The second video is the inside of B201 where I work. The D wing is being renovated so we have people squeezed in to various areas right now until it is done. This wing was just finished last month. Read the rest of this entry »
