Today is ruhi’s birthday! Happy birthday!!!!

We are hanging out at art galleries, having nice meals and seeing a movie with friends later.

Fod, Matt and Kao Rou

Today Fod an I met up with Matt at Bridges, just a stone’s throw from where he teaches English. We had a nice time relaxing with a couple bowls of Chilli and a burger for Matt.

After work I went to one of the Kao Rou (Chinese BBQ) places across the street from Ruhi’s night class. Spicy and delicious.

Our cat is nothing if not fiesty. She has an abundance of energy and is usually happiest when attacking hands and feet.

Here we see her during an experimental film shoot for a piece I like to call “Cello Yoyo Mao”.

Kids, errands and subway

Today started with a nice musical performance for some children by Nabil. I was able to join in with some backup guitar.

Then Ruhi and I went to Danzi Chang to get some apple accessories before i dropped her off in Gaoxin and then headed to subway for some dinner and free wifi.

Scooter Repairs

Great Xi’an Weather!

A beautiful day in Xi’an today, almost making up for the months of rainy weather. This is my coworker, Lei, as we took a break after lunch to enjoy some sun.

Huatek English Class

One of the things I did this past summer was teach and English class at Huatek, a software development outsourcer in Xi’an high-tech zone. Just eight students, all of who have pretty decent English, and I would teach them twice a week. A fun class that I really enjoyed.
